(Private) Single-span non authentic Stringer truss 10' over unnamed
stream. Located: North of Colebrook, New Hampshire.
Directions: From US 3 in Colebrook, New Hampshire take SR 145 north
to Beaver Brook Falls Park (will be on your right). The bridge is
located approximately 1 mile north of Beaver Falls on the left side of
SR 145 behind a small pond. The bridge appears to be decorative
in nature and leads from a dirt road in front of the bridge across the
stream to nowhere. The structure rests on stone abutments.
The floor, roof portals and truss are all constructed with uncut
logs. Also known as the Cottontail Pond Covered Footbridge.
