Nutfield Crossing Covered Footbridge
Rockingham County, New Hampshire 
(WGN 29-08-l)  (WGCB NH-08-l):  (2004) A single-span non authentic Stringer truss footbridge 56' 1" over pond outlet. Located: In Londonderry Township in Londonderry, New Hampshire, at Schaeffer Mortgage Corporation, 5 Buttrick Road. Directions: From Londonderry, New Hampshire at the intersection of SR 102 and SR 128, go north 0.8 mile on SR 102 to Buttrick Road on the left, follow 0.1 mile to Schaeffer Mortgage Corporation at No. 5 on the left, or from Derry at the intersection of SR 28 (Crystal Avenue) and SR 102, go south 2.4 miles (1.2 miles past I-93 exit 4) to Buttrick Road on the right. It was was built to provide access from an overflow parking area to the Schaeffer Mortgage Corporation. A contest was held to name the bridge and the name was selected from one of 95 entries received. The bridge is supported by two thick steel I-beams and has decorative Town lattice truss. Crosswise thick pressure-treated planking forms the floor with natural vertical tongue and groove boarding covering the portals and sides to rail height. It is open above the eaves exposing its decorative Town lattice that supports the cedar shake roof.  (May 2005)
