29-06-o) (WGCB NH-06-o): (1989) (Private) A single-span non authentic Stringer truss footbridge 30' 1" over man a made pond. Located: In Litchfield Township in Litchfield, New Hampshire, at Tee-Off at Mel’s, 454 Charles Bancroft Highway (SR 3A). Directions: From Manchester, New Hampshire, at the intersection of SR 3A and SR 101, go south 5.2 miles on SR 3A (becomes Charles Bancroft Highway) to Tee-Off at Mel's, No 454 on the right. The bridge is in the miniature golf attraction over a man made pond next to the lighthouse near holes 11, 12 and 13. The footbridge carries a pathway between golf holes across the small rock lined pond. The bridge has a 7' 5" long ramp at the east portal. Two steel I-beam stringers, set on poured concrete abutments support the covered section of the structure. Crosswise thick deck boards form the floor and cover the ramp. There are dark weathered vertical boarding covering the sides to rail height. Four timber posts along each side support the red painted steel roof.
