38-06-e) (WGCB PA-06-e): (1998) A single-span non
authentic Stringer truss footbridge 14' over a pond. Located:
West south-west of Bernville, Jefferson Township, Pennsylvania. Directions:
Robesdnia Road west (curves south) 0.3 mile from jct. with SR 183 just
south of Bernville, Pennsylvania west on Christmas Village Road 1.4 miles
to Christmas Village. The sides are covered with horizontal boarding
half way up, open to the roof for ventilation. The portals are covered
with horizontal boarding with white painted trim and it has a shingle roof.
It is painted barn red both inside and out. When visited on
June 4, 2008, the attraction was closed and the only photographs we could
obtain were long range from an adjoining road location. (Jun 2008) |
