It has stone and mortar wing walls. The structure has been reinforced
with steel I-beams and an additional vertical steel superstructure placed
on a concrete foundation in the streambed, located midway between each
abutment and a center concrete pier. The bridge is covered with corrugated
metal, and has vertical, tongue and grooved siding. The deck is lengthwise
planking laid over crosswise planking. In 1977, repairs were made
to one of the knee braces. Additional repairs were done to
the wing walls and the north abutment in 1991. The bridge was damaged during
the June 28, 2006 flood and is currently undergoing repairs.  There is a plaque mounted on the portal indicating the bridges name as
"Adairs Bridge." However, when the World Guide Number was
assigned it was known as the "Cisna Mill Covered Bridge"with a alternate
name of the "Adair Covered Bridge." It was listed on
the National Register of Historic Places on August 25, 1980.
