of the Wheeling Creek. Located: On a gravel road (no road name

and go 0.1 mile to the bridge. The bridge has vertical board siding
on both the sides and portals with both the exterior and interior walls
painted barn red. It has a sheet metal roof and a deck of crosswise
planking with two rectangular windows on each side in addition to the eave

on concrete foundations, and the abutments extend to form short, stone

with heavy timbers that are positioned in the stream bed at equal intervals
under the cross members of the deck. The bridge was closed in early 1996
and placed on the twelve year plan for restoration, however, it was repaired
and reopened after being closed for about six months. It was listed
on the National Register of Historic Places on June 22, 1979. (Apr
