Creasyville Covered Bridge
Columbia County, Pennsylvania 
(WGN 38-19-36)  (WGCB PA-19-36)(1881; new roof 1998)  A single-span Queenpost truss 44' 7" over Little Fishing Creek.  Located:  On Creasyville Bridge Road (TR 683), approximately 6.7 miles northeast of Sereno, Pennsylvania between Pine and Jackson Townships, Pennsylvania.  Directions:  From the Jud Christian Covered Bridge (WGN 38-19-25) continue northeast on Sereno Road (SR 4031) for 0.7 mile to jct. with SR 4039.  Continue straight, past the jct. with Sones Hollow Road where Sereno Road (SR 4031) becomes Creasyville Hollow Road (TR 710).  Continue north on Creasyville Hollow Road (TR 710) for 0.6 mile until you find a road on the left with the bridge in sight.  Turn left to the bridge.  The shortest covered bridge still standing in Columbia County.  Built at a cost of $301.25.  Located near Iram Derr’s sawmill and thought to have first been known as the Derr Covered bridge.  The structure rests on concrete abutments with concrete wing walls.  It is covered with red painted vertical board siding and its decks consists of runners laid over crosswise planking.  A new sheet metal roof was put on in 1998.  Also known as the County No. 97 Covered Bridge.  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 1979.  (Apr 2006)
