Frazier Covered Bridge
Lycoming County, Pennsylvania
(WGN 38-41-03) (WGCB PA-41-03):  (1888)  A single-span multiple Kingpost with Burr arch truss 77' 10" over Muncy Creek. Located:  On Covered Bridge Road, southwest of Lairdsville, Pennsylvania.  Directions:  In Lairdsville, Pennsylvania, from the iron bridge along SR 118 West, go 1.4 miles to Old Lairdsville Road (TR 509).  Turn left and go 0.1 mile to Dairy Farm Road (TR 660), then turn left on Dairy Farm Road (TR 660) and go 0.8 mile to Covered Bridge Road (a narrow dirt road between farm buildings).  Turn left and go 0.2 mile to the bridge.  The structure rests on cut stone abutments that have concrete reinforcements.  The sides and portals are covered with weathered barn red painted vertical siding with approximately four foot wide openings under the eaves for ventilation.  There is one large window opening on the downstream side.  The floor consists of wide crosswise boarding and two three board lengthwise runners and a shake roof.  Also known as the Moreland Covered Bridge and the Lairdsville Covered Bridge.   It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 24, 1980.  (May 2009)
