Heritage House Covered Footbridge
Columbia County, Pennsylvania
(WGN 38-19-d)  (WGCB PA-19-d)(1983)  A single-span non authentic Stringer truss 22' on dry land.  Located:  In Orange, Pennsylvania.  Directions:  From I-80, Exit 35, take SR 487 North approximately 3 miles to bridge on the right (east side SR 487) beside former Heritage House Restaurant.  When visited on September 17, 2006, the restaurant was closed and for sale.  The structure rests on its stringers on gravel with simulated stone abutments.  It is covered with red painted vertical board siding and portals and features two windows on each side.  Its decks consists of crosswise planking and it has a wood shake roof.  (Sep 2006)
