1998) A single-span Queenpost truss 52' 3" over Little Fishing Creek.
Located: On Ardens Hill Road (TR 685), approximately 5.4 miles northeast
of Sereno, Pennsylvania between Pine and Jackson Townships, Pennsylvania.
Directions: From the Sam Eckman Covered Bridge (WGN
38-19-08), continue northeast on Sereno Road (SR 4031) for 1.9 miles
to Arden Hill Road (TR 685). The bridge is immediately to the right
(east) on Arden Hill Road (TR 685). It was named after a nearby farmer
and lumberman Jud Christian and was built at a cost of $239.00. The
bridge is in near perfect condition; the stone and mortar abutments are

has a relatively short Queenpost truss. It has board and batten siding
and a metal roof. The wing walls extend only to road level
and the deck consists of runners laid over crosswise planking.
It was given a new sheet metal roof and painted in 1998 by the Township
Maintenance Crew. Also known as the Jud Christie Covered Bridge
and the
County No. 45 Covered Bridge. It was listed
on the National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 1979.
