(Private) A single-span non authentic Stringer truss footbridge 20'
on dry land. Located: On Esther Furnace Road (TR 373), northwest
of Slabtown, Cleveland Township, Pennsylvania. Directions:
From the Davis Covered Bridge (WGN 38-19-16),
continue on Queen City Road (TR 377) for 1 mile to a “T”, turn right for
0.2 mile to Esther Furnace Road; turn right for 0.2 mile to the Esther
Furnace Covered Bridge
(WGN
38-19-20). The bridge is on your
right just after crossing the Esther Furnace Covered Bridge
(WGN
38-19-20) in the side yard to the right of
the house at 46 Ester Furnace road. It is covered with
red painted vertical board siding and portals. The portals are trimmed
in white. There are openings under the eaves, a plywood deck and
a metal roof. It is currently being used as a storage shed.
