Scott Covered Bridge
Greene County, Pennsylvania 
(WGN 38-30-28)  (WGCB PA-30-28)  (1885)  A single-span, Queenpost truss, 48' 5" over Ten Mile Creek.  Located:  On Covered Bridge Road, approximately 1.4 miles east of Rutan, Pennsylvania, and 3 miles west of Rogersville, Center Township, Pennsylvania.  Directions:  Approximately 1.4 miles east of Rutan, Pennsylvania, and 3 miles west of Rogersville, Pennsylvania, at the jct. of SR 21 and Covered Bridge Road (TR 424) go south on Covered Bridge Road (TR 424) for 0.1 mile to the bridge.  The bridge is covered with unpainted vertical boards on both the sides and portals nd a sheet metal roof.  Its deck has crosswise planking with one window cut in the center of the Queenpost truss in addition to the lengthwise openings under the eaves of the bridge.  The structure has been reinforced with steel I beans, and rests on cut stone abutments.   It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 22, 1979.  (Oct 2005)
