NE of North Tunbridge, Vermont on Larkin Road. Directions:
From jct. SR 113 and SR 110 in Chelsea, Vermont, take SR 110 5.1 miles
to a left turn on Larkin Road. Take Larkin road 0.1 mile to the bridge.
Note: The bridge is clearly visible going North on SR 110.
The turn onto Larkin Road can be tricky. There is a name board on
one gable proclaiming the bridges name and a build date of 1902.
One of the few covered bridges built in Vermont in the 20th century. A
roof beam and several knee braces were replaced sometime prior to the installation
of the standing-seam steel roof, and the replacement of several roof boards
in 2002. Dark weathered vertical boarding covers the sides, portals
and weather panels. The floor has 4" lengthwise planking and its
steeply pitched steel roof is painted silver. Because it does not
cross the river squarely, the structure does exhibit a slight camber.
