Bramley Covered Bridge

(WGN 46-18-01)  (WGCB VA-18-01)  (1983) (Private) A single-span Smith truss 26' 8" over Chance Creek.  Located:  In Drenn, Virginia at jct. of Chance Creek Road and Forest Haven Drive On private property so request permission to visit.  Directions:  From Fancy Gap, Virginia at I-77, exit 8, SSR 775 (Chance Creek Road), go west 6.1 miles to Forest Haven Drive, on the left (0.6 mile past Misty Trail, SSR 700, on the left).  The bridge is in the northeast corner of Forest Haven Drive and Chances Creek Road.  The bridge was built by William Bondurant in 1983, when he owned the property.  It is the only Smith truss covered bridge in Virginia and is the shortest, as well as, at 9'3" , the narrowest authentic covered bridge in Virginia.  Also known as the Bondurant Covered Bridge.
