A single-span Kingpost truss 35' 3" over Fish Creek. Located:
South of Hundred, West Virginia on Rush Run Road (CR 13). Directions:
From Hundred, West Virginia, to south on US 250 to just past the junction
with SR 7 go right on Rush Run Road (CR 13) 0.2 mile to the bridge.
Totally rebuilt in August 2001, at a cost of $275,000, salvaging only four
truss timber braces. The bridge has a single Kingpost truss, supported
by six steel I-beam stringers, set on the original abutments.
Owned by the State of West Virginia open to motor traffic. Also known
as the
Hundred Covered Bridge and the Rush Run Covered Bridge.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 4, 1981,
simultaneously with ten other historic covered bridges in West Virginia.
